About the Sober Jam
The MusiCares Sober Jam is a monthly event hosted by Gibson Guitars, MusiCares and The SIMS Foundation offering musicians an opportunity to take the stage in a safe and sober environment.

The format of the event begins with a jam sesion followed by “open mic” style performances by solo artists as well as full bands, and concludes with a featured artist performance. Gibson Guitar has generously donated their private showroom and a variety of instruments for musicians to play on-stage.
