About the Sober Jam
The MusiCares® Sober Jam is a monthly event presented by Face the Music, offering musicians an opportunity to perform in a safe and sober environment.
This event would not be possible without the ongoing support of our sponsors, MusiCares, Face the Music, the SIMS Foundation and Gibson Guitar.
The Sober Jam is held at The North Door and begins at 6pm with a guest band from the sober community, allowing guests time to arrive, mingle and find their way to a seat. At 7pm, the space transitions to a listening room with “open-mic” style performances (solo or with a band). At 8pm we will feature an unannounced special guest performer, and from 830-930 we will have an open Jam hosted by the house band..
