WHAT:
A new film on the life of Dr. Frank Buchman is being screened this month at a Sedona film festival. A free, one-time Austin showing is generously being made available to us . T h e professionally produced 60-minute film chronicles the life and times of Oxford Group Founder Frank Buchman whose principles of spiritual change helped launch Alcoholics Anonymous and all of our 12-Step Fellowships. A panel discussion Q&A will follow linking the film’s message to the life-changing work of the 12-Step movement.
WHY:
We believe knowledge of AA’s history and a renewed practice of the original principals of our fellowships can help deepen our own spiritual journeys while strengthening 12 Step programs for generations to come.
