About the Sober Jam
The MusiCares® Sober Jam is a monthly event presented by Face the Music, offering musicians an opportunity to perform in a safe and sober environment.
This event would not be possible without the ongoing support of our sponsors, MusiCares, Face the Music, the SIMS Foundation and Gibson Guitar.
The Sober Jam is held at The North Door and begins at 6pm with an open jam, allowing guests time to arrive, mingle and find their way to a seat. Musicians
are also encouraged to join in the jam on-stage!
At 7pm, the space transitions to a listening room with “open-mic” style performances (solo or with a band), facilitated by emcee Debbie Stanley of
DeMaris Entertainment. Each event concludes with an unannounced special guest performer.
